I work intuitively. I try to make a photograph that defines a moment in time and space. Sometimes I help to create it or often I'm just an observer waiting for the right moment.
Respecting the subject and the environment is critical. I rarely judge as I become a willing participant in the dance, the drama, the activity.
A photograph is like a poem, a dance, a meditation. I prefer not to manipulate, the media stage or seek famous people. I avoid the media frenzy and instead search for the backrooms, backstreets, the forgotten people.
... but tommorw is a new day and there may be a different direction.
